Dr. Benjamin Okai, PhD, LPC-S
CEO, CLINICAL DIRECTOR, AND LEAD THERAPIST
Dr. Benjamin Okai is an Assistant Professor of Graduate Counseling. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Supervisor, EMDR and EFT trained, and a Board-Certified technology-assisted counselor/supervisor in the state of Arkansas. As a Counselor educator and supervisor, he has been actively involved in student career development and academic success through mentoring, empowering, and sharpening their clinical skills. His professional and clinical experience is the direct result of years of serving diverse populations in various capacities as a therapist and clinical supervisor in residential facilities, inpatient, and outpatient settings. His family has been involved in foster care for over a decade. He has a strong passion for teaching, research, and service as these pillars undergird the competency of the clinician and are deemed indispensable in the helping relationship. His research interests are marital enhancement, advocacy, diversity, addiction studies, and spiritual integration. His counseling philosophy is premised on the understanding that some life challenges threaten our sense of Peace, Power, and Personality and therefore counseling should focus on restoring the sense of Peace through the exploration of our uniquely endowed Power, Potential, and Possibilities.

Dr. Neil Shah, MD
MEDICAL DIRECTOR
Dr. Shah was born in Florida but spent most of his life in several states throughout the U.S. After completing medical school on a full-ride scholarship awarded to him for his research and work in improving healthcare systems, Dr. Shah trained at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. He has since tailored much of his practice towards serving vulnerable populations including those suffering from addictions and coexisting mental health issues, homelessness, poverty, and developmental disabilities. Dr. Shah also focuses much of his attention on complex cases including patients with dual diagnoses and systemic or debilitating disease that requires coordination of care between multiple medical teams. He takes a patient-centered approach to providing care in which he empowers patients with education, resources, and support so that they are able to play an active role in the decision-making and management of their care. In his free time, Dr. Shah enjoys traveling and spending time with his family including his dog.

Toshua Shelton-Wiggins PLMSW, BSW
CORPORATE COMPLIANCE, GRIEVANCE, AND PRIVACY OFFICER AND QUALITY CONTROL MANAGER
A native of Little Rock, AR, Mrs. Wiggins is a graduate of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She has a bachelor's in Social Work and is currently a graduate student at Capella University completing coursework in Social Work. She is the owner and operator of Always Promoting Independence Homecare, LLC. With over 10 years of experience working as a school-based mental health professional as well as 6 years of experience working with the elderly population as a caregiver and case manager, Mrs. Wiggins possesses a wealth of knowledge and information that allows her to serve in these roles with ease. She also has experience working in adolescent residential facilities. In her spare time, she loves volunteering in her community and spending time with her husband of 20 years and children.

Sandra Carroll, TCM
DIRECTOR OF BILLING, CODING, AND HUMAN RESOURCES
Sandra Carroll is an information specialist with over 15 years of experience working for Verizon. While employed at Verizon, she has worked in multiple areas such as tech support, mobile communication, systems, and integrations; focusing on branding, contracts, and increasing customer retention and satisfaction.
Since 2019, she has helped to launch a small business named Always Promoting Independence Homecare, their focus is on providing assistance with personal care needs for individuals with chronic, physical, and mental diagnoses that warrant assistance with ADLs. She wears multiple hats in her current role with the company. She oversees the proper communication of contracts, compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, implementation of electronic visit verification integration, accuracy of billing multiple insurance companies, and manages a staff of 50 plus employees, as well as advocates, empowerment, and finding resources for a client base of 10 plus individuals she provides case management to.
When not working to grow small businesses, Sandra enjoys spending time with her husband and being a mom to three children. She also enjoys boxing at her local gym, walking around the neighborhood, and movie nights with the family.

Laura Hirtz BSN, RN
MEDICAL RECORDS LIBRARIAN
Laura is a compassionate, dedicated registered nurse who has been in the healthcare industry for over 41 years. For 25 of those blissful years, she has worked with veterans at the VA McClellan campus hospital. She received her BSN from Minot State College, in North Dakota. Laura believes that patient and client care should be a top priority for all those in medical professions. She believes that nursing should be performed with a “heart of love”. She has specialty care experience and has worked with patients in critical care units, and chemical dependency units, to name a few. It has always been a passion of hers to assist others in need during trying and challenging times. When she’s not taking care of patients Laura serves her community by volunteering for local nonprofits and serving on several other boards

Ray Floyd
SPIRITUAL ADVISOR
A native of Little Rock, Arkansas, Mr. Floyd graduated from Hall High School in 1982. That same year, he joined the United States Marine Corps, where he served until 1987 as a comm. Discharge. During that time, Mr. Floyd was stationed in Garden City, Kansas, and attended Garden City Community College where he earned an Associate degree in Old and New Testament. Later, he moved back to Little Rock, Arkansas and enrolled in several online courses through Liberty University.
Mr. Floyd united with Corner Stone Baptist Church and became a licensed ordained minister in 1989. In 1990, he joined Walnut Grove Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor O.D. Johnson and served as the youth pastor. That same year, Mr. Floyd enrolled in Boyce Bible School under the S.B.C. (Southern Baptist Convention) an extension of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary School of Theology here in Little Rock, Arkansas where he continued to attend until 1997, when he was installed as the Pastor of Walnut Grove Baptist Church. Mr. Floyd later became the Congress President of the Argenta District East where he served for 7 years and the Vice President of the Baptist State Convention of Arkansas under the National President, Dr. Thursten, where he served for 2 years. In 2011, Mr. Floyd was consecrated as Bishop.
Mr. Floyd has been married for more than 30 years, he and his wife share 6 children.
